🔐 Terms and Conditions for Online Payments

These Terms and Conditions apply to all online payments made to The Papua New Guinea University of Technology using BSP Pay.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our online payment system, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with your payment.

2. Payment Methods

We currently accept payments online through BSP Pay. All transactions are processed in Papua New Guinea Kina (PGK) and must be paid in full at the time of transaction.

Payments can be made for the following:

  • Tuition Fees

  • Application Fees

  • Domain Registration Fees

  • Domain Renewal Fees

  • Any other approved university-related charges

3. Secure Transactions

All payment transactions are handled through BSP Pay, a secure and encrypted payment gateway certified by BSP Bank. We do not store your bank account or card details on our website.

4. Payment Confirmation

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

  • An on-screen confirmation

  • A confirmation email (if a valid email address was provided)

If you do not receive confirmation within 24 hours, please contact our accounts office via the details below.

5. Refund Policy

All payments made online are considered final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Refunds may be processed only under exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Duplicate payments

  • Overpayments

  • Program cancellations initiated by the University

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to accounts.payables@pnguot.ac.pg within 14 days of the original payment date and must include:

  • Full name of the student/applicant / sponsor

  • Payment reference number

  • Reason for refund request

Approved refunds will be processed through BSP and may take up to 30 working days.

6. Failed or Declined Payments

If your transaction is declined by your bank or BSP Pay, the University will not be held responsible. You must ensure that:

  • You have sufficient funds

  • You have entered correct account details

  • Your BSP Pay account is active

7. Misuse or Fraudulent Transactions

Any attempt to misuse our payment gateway for fraudulent transactions will result in immediate suspension of access and potential legal action.

8. Changes to Terms

The University reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Please review this page before making any payment.
