PNGUoT Bookshop
Located at Taraka main Campus in Union Hall buildings, the Bookshop was established in 1970’s as one of the university’s main supplier of student course materials. Bookshop is established to provide right edition of textbooks and other learning materials ideally suited to students in Engineering and other Faculties.
PNGUoT Bookshop is owned by PNG University of Technology as a service unit entity in providing affordable students learning stationary, text books, equipment and also academic related stationery and ICT accessories for students learning.
Bookshop’s vision is to work in partnership with University and Academic to bring quality and sustainable educational services to the students at an affordable price within the campus.
The PNGUoT Bookshop serves the students, faculty, staff and community as the campus bookstore, fostering academic success and providing students support in their learning.
The Bookshop’s primary mission is to provide a high quality products and services while supporting the University’s mission in providing the best educational experience for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and surrounding community.
PNGUoT Bookshop is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for students, while improving facilities and operations at the PNG University of Technology as much as possible with the given limited resources available with the locally as well as reasonable overseas and outsources suppliers. To accomplish this mission, any revenue and profits are reinvested back to bookshop to support the student for learning materials.
We strive to have our customers (students) and stakeholders actively involved on our business operation.
- Provides relevant products and services that contribute towards academic success, promote institutional pride, and serve convenience needs.
- Provide necessary resources and support to students activities and other University priorities.

Services Provided
We provide the following services to the University students and Academic schools:
- Retail outlet for Stationeries, Textbooks, & Laboratory Equipment.
- Academic school produced Lab Manuals and Hand Books.
- Teaching aid and Material.
- Office Consumables.
- Student’s lab Safety Gears.
- In addition we also provide services on Printing, Photocopying, Binding and Lamination.
