Online Study

The Papua New Guinea University of Technology now have flexible study mode where qualified non-school leavers can apply for exclusively online studies in the courses provided below.

Programs Offered Online:

Papua New Guinean applicants with Grade 12 Higher School Certificate or equivalent with minimum required grades.

Programs & Entry Requirements

Entry into the program is at Grade 12 (PNG Higher School Certificate) or equivalent level with a minimum “C” in Maths A or Maths B + “B” in L&L or Applied English + “B” in Economics and Accounting.

Entry into the program is at Grade 12 (PNG Higher School Certificate) or equivalent level with a minimum “C” in Maths A or “B” in Maths B, and “B” in L&L or Applied English + “B” in Economics and Business Studies

Entry into the program is at Grade 12 (PNG Higher School Certificate) or equivalent level with a minimum “C” in either Maths A or Maths B, + “B” in either L&L or Applied English ‘+” B” in any of the following; Economics, ICT, Accounting or Business Studies.

Entry into the program is at Grade 12 (PNG Higher School Certificate) or equivalent level with a minimum “C” in Maths A or “B” in Maths B, + “B” in L&L or Applied English and “B” in Economics and Business Studies.

Entry into the program is at Grade 12 (PNG Higher School Certificate) or equivalent level with a minimum grade “B” or better in L&L or AE, “C” or better in any one of the following Geography, Economics, Maths B, Business Studies, History, Legal Studies and “C” grade in Maths (A).

Entry into the program is at Grade 12 (PNG Higher School Certificate) or equivalent level with either a minimum ‘B’ in L&L or Applied English + “B” in Maths (A/B) and either Economics, Accounting, Legal Studies, Business Studies, Geography & History.

Entry into the program is at Grade 12 (PNG Higher School Certificate) or equivalent level with either a minimum ‘B’ in L&L or Applied English + “B” in Maths (A/B) and either Economics, Accounting, Legal Studies, Business Studies, Geography & History.

Entry into this program is at a Diploma in either Building, Architecture or Civil Engineering (or its equivalent) from a recognized tertiary institution.

Recognition Status

Both online and conventional degrees are officially recognized by PNGUoT and hold equal value for employment and further studies. The degree certificates for both online programs and on-campus are identical in structure and wording.
