Bachelor of Science in Geomatics (Distance Mode) – 2026 Admissions Now Open
The PNG University of Technology, Lae, through the School of Surveying and Land Studies, is pleased to announce the admission of students for 2026 for the ‘Bachelor of Science in Geomatics’ (both Surveying and GIS themes are merged as per the modern trends) to be offered by DISTANCE MODE.
Admission requirements: B. Sc. in Geomatics: B grades in Major Mathematics, English, Physics, Geography and Information Technology (Introduction to Computer Science is preferred).
Duration of the Courses: Four (4) Years; B. Sc in Geomatics is being offered in DISTANCE MODE. The residential (1st Year 1st Semester) period is scheduled to start from 2nd week of November (09th November, 2026) for 6 weeks. The 2nd semester of 1st Year is a distance mode semester, scheduled from March to July (13 weeks) every year.
