2026 PNGUoT Graduation List
We are pleased to share with you the list of candidates who have successfully met all the requirements of the respective programs they have undertaken. The following list contains names of successful candidates to graduate on Thursday, 16th and Friday, 17th April 2026 at the Taraka campus in Lae.
KEY INFORMATION FOR GRADUAND’S TO NOTE:
1. GRADUATION DATES: The PNG University of Technology’s 58th Graduation Ceremony will be conducted over two days on Thursday, 16th and Friday, 17th April 2026. Graduands, parents/guardians and sponsors are to note the faculties will be graduating per details below:
• Thursday, 16th April: Faculty of Engineering | Faculty of Natural Resources| Faculty of Science
• Friday, 17th April: Faculty of Built Environment | Faculty of Humanities
Postgraduates will graduate under their respective schools. Both graduation ceremonies will be held at the PNGUoT Taraka Campus.
2. GRADUATION QUERIES: All graduation related queries can be sent through graduation. enquiries@pnguot.ac.pg
3. DEBTS, FINES AND CHARGES: Students who have not cleared their debts, fines and charges on the 10th of April 2026, will have their certificates withheld until cleared.
4. GOWN ISSUANCE SCHEDULE: All graduands are to take note of the following dates for gown collection. Gowns will be issued over five (5) days from April 11th to 15th by faculty as outlined below from 9.00am to 3.00pm at the Rose Kekedo Foyer (RKCC). NO gowns will be issued AFTER the Deadline.
• Saturday, 11th & Monday, 13th April: Faculties of Engineering, Natural Resources and Sciences.
• Sunday, 12th & Tuesday, 14th April: Faculties of Built Environment and Humanities
• Wednesday, 15th April: All Faculties (gowns will be issued from 9am to 12noon only)
GOWN PURCHASE CHARGES:
Higher Degree Gowns: K700.00
Undergraduate (Degree) Gowns: K500.00
Diploma/Certificate Gowns: K350.00
Higher Degree Gown: For Higher Degree gowns, contact the Postgraduate Office on info.pgs@ pnguot.ac.pg or the Academic and Students’ Administration Office on email graduation.enquiries@ pnguot.ac.pg .
Gown payment can be made to the PNG University of Technology account #: 1000386580, BSP Bank – Lae. Scan and email all gown fee payments with the email subject ‘Gown Fee Payment’ to the accounts team on email student.accounts@pnguot.ac.pg . Deadline of gown payments is on Friday, 10th April 2026. Fees for purchase of gowns are non-refundable. All gowns will be purchased, no gowns will be hired.
5. REHEARSAL: Rehearsal and briefing for all graduands will be on Wednesday, 15th April at 1.00 p.m, at the Sandover Graduation Arena.
